Girl Band

Girl Band is made up of of 4 friends ages 22-25 who grew up together in small-town Morehead, Kentucky but are now spread out to Louisville and Lexington. Dreamt up one starry night in February 2024 by Ciah and Taylee on the ride home from a gory attempt at rollerskating in honor of Ciah’s 21st — such a massacre causes one to reflect on one’s life, and so they decided to follow a more sound whim and put together a team of the best girl rockers they knew. Thus, Girl Band was born from a shared love of music and performing and so Ciah could force people to play the songs she wrote.

For 2 years they have been in the garage, but now they have begun playing in public, public beware. They play a unique blend of originals and covers from a wide range of genres with a particular fondness for rock and pop. They are also in the market for a drummer if you know anyone cool (gender negotiable).
