About Kenwick Porch Fest
Our
Story
Kenwick Porch Fest was started in 2023 by our neighbor, Tomi, as a celebration of "National Play Music on Your Front Porch Day" and to showcase the talent and camaraderie of our community. Not even rain could stop our fun that year (or the second year), and the event was a hit with our neighbors and visitors alike.
KPF was organized by our neighbor, Hannah, in 2024 and she was joined by neighbor Martha in 2025. Looking forward, we hope to grow the KPF Team by as many neighbors as are willing to help out!
Each year we host around 30 musicians, bands, and group performances on almost 30 front porch venues. We rely on the kindness and enthusiasm of our neighbors for their gift of using their front porches for a day.
About Our Logo
Our logo was designed by KPF Team Member, Hannah, for the 2024 Porch Fest. She took inspiration for our resident neighborhood cat, icon, man around town, and celebrity in his own right, Ham. Ham is a longtime Kenwick resident and can be found lounging at Kenwick Table. Ham loves naps, music, ham, and avoiding children.
